libopenshot 1.0.0 -- the C++ video-editing engine behind OpenShot (FFmpeg decode/encode, Qt6 image/text/html readers, a QtPlayer, keyframe animation, effects) plus its SWIG-generated Python module (_openshot.so + openshot.py) that openshot-qt imports. Built with USE_QT6=ON against /opt/qt6-full and FFmpeg 7.1.5. Deliberately built WITHOUT: ImageMagick (ENABLE_MAGICK=OFF -- Qt's own readers cover images; avoids a full Magick++ package), OpenCV (ENABLE_OPENCV=OFF -- drops AI object-detection/tracking + stabilizer effects; would need Boost+Protobuf+OpenCV), Wayland screen-capture (ENABLE_WAYLAND_CAPTURE=OFF -- needs libpipewire/libspa; X11 capture still works), Resvg (optional, not built). JsonCpp uses the bundled thirdparty copy. ship_in_iso=false: OpenShot video-editing feature, packages-only.

libopenshot-audio 1.0.0 -- the JUCE-derived audio engine under libopenshot (part of the OpenShot 4.0.0 release family: openshot-qt 4.0.0 / libopenshot 1.0.0 / libopenshot-audio 1.0.0, all tagged 2026-08-30). JUCE sources are bundled. Only real deps are ALSA and zlib (both already built). ship_in_iso=false: OpenShot video-editing feature, packages-only, kept out of linuxdoors.iso.

OpenShot 4.0.0 (openshot-qt) -- the Qt6/PySide6 video-editor GUI on top of libopenshot 1.0.0. Released 2026-08-30. Pure-Python app: `python3 setup.py install` lays down the openshot_qt module, the /usr/bin/openshot-qt launcher, xdg .desktop/appdata/icons/mime. Runtime Python deps: PySide6 (already built), openshot (the SWIG module from libopenshot), requests+certifi (already in $LFS), plus pyzmq / markdown / defusedxml / Pillow pip-installed into the destdir at build time (manylinux wheels -- pyzmq's bundles its own libzmq). 4.0.0 has a redesigned NATIVE Qt timeline, so no QtWebEngine is needed. AI Object-Mask/Detection features are absent (libopenshot built without OpenCV). ship_in_iso=false: video-editing feature, packages-only, kept out of linuxdoors.iso per user direction.

SWIG 4.3.1 -- interface compiler that generates the Python bindings (_openshot.so + openshot.py) for libopenshot, which OpenShot's Qt GUI imports. Not in BLFS's own index but a standard build (pre-bootstrapped SourceForge tarball, plain ./configure). Only real dep is pcre2 (already built). ship_in_iso=false: part of the OpenShot video-editing feature, packages-only, kept out of linuxdoors.iso.
